I'm a believer of following the directions and if you have problems, then
you can blame the product. But if you go astray. It's a lot longer to come
to the truth of the problem.
Consider reinstalling it according to the directions.
Good luck.

If the AT scheduler is running a/b/c.bat files it works fine until the
cmd.exe processes build and then the errors occur. I don't think there is a
problem with the locations or names of the directories. Perl is installed
on D: mrtg is installed in e:/mrtg and all necessary files are in the root
of that dir.

correction:
Your mrtgkick.bat should say:
c:\perl\bin\perl c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run\mrtg
c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run\mrtg_your_router.cfg.
Somehow the email put it on 2 lines. It should all be on one line

I'm not sure how you set mrtg up, but according to the directions.
You need to load unzip mrtg to whatever directory (for this case c:\)
It should create a c:\mrtg-2.8.12
Then you need to unzip fiveminute.zip in the c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run directory.
assuming you followed the rest of the directions
You should set a/b/c.bat to say
start c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run\mrtgkick.bat
your mrtgkick.bat files should say
c:\perl\bin\perl c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run\mrtg
c:\mrtg-2.8.12\run\mrtg_your_router.cfg
The file "mrtg_your_router.cfg" should specify where the graphs are going to
be written
E.G WorkDir: c:\inetput\wwwroot\graphs
and then
RunAsDaemon: Yes
Interval: 5
Follow this link to a copy of directions given earlier last week. I hope
they are helpful to you.

Mrtg 2.8.12 for NT 4 sp6a
I used the 5minute to setup mrtg with the schedule service every 5 minutes.
CMD.exe process does not ternimate. There are about 20 listed in task
manager before NT starts spitting out dll errors. I reinstalled the service
pack and even tried it on another pc with the same results.
Any ideas?
Also I deleted all "AT" entries and added the following lines to my mrtg.cfg
file
RunAsDaemon: Yes
Interval: 5
now when I run "perl mrtg mrtg.cfg" I receive the following errors
"CFG Error: Unknown Option "runasdaemon" on line 5 or above.
Check readme.html for Help"
