Basically, switching to rrdtool is very simple.
It is the 'fixing' of your web interface to match it that is hard.
What I did was installed rrdtool, then ran a perl script that went through
all configs and added the appropriate options.
I then ran another perl script that went through every html page on my
web interface and changed all of the links from mrtg.host.net/blah.html
to mrtg.host.net/cgi-bin/14all.cgi?log=blah&cfg=/path/to/config
If anyone is interested, I could (hopefully) drag those old perl scripts back up
although they would require some re-working depending on individual setups.
