    I monitor mail on my boxes, but not using snmp (I never bothered writing
an MIB for it...it'll be a pain anyways).  Instead, I use simple scripts (some
of which COME with MRTG) to generate my stats.

    Go to http://mrtg.yeehaw.net/ and log in as 'public' with the same
password.  Scroll down to SMTP Statistics, and read the Setup Info link.
