[mrtg] No Number are showing up.

Hi,
I am running mrtg on a router a BayStack Switch, and I currently trying
to affix a call to remote server that should return the number of active
modem ports and the nmber of logged on users. However, it is not
building the graph, and only the first line in the log file ever gets
changed. The script works fine, and returns info as follows:

mchn2.getmodems
The third and forth lines are showing up okay (uptime and machine name),
the numbers are being added to the log file on the first line. But
nothing is showing up on the graphs or on the graph
legends.
This is version 2.5.4
