[mrtg] PC speed

Just thought I'd let you know.

Just got the new Dell PIII/866 PC with 128 mb of RAM.

>From taking almost 3mins to complete the task, it now takes only 15 seconds,
now that's a BIG difference :-)

I Monitor 5 Servers, 1 T1 and one HP Switch, that lasts a bit too. I think
that it depends on your old PC cauz its too slow or your ethernet is
overload.

I'm currently running mrtg on an old Win95 PC with great success, but the 
whole task takes just under 2 1/2 mins to complete. 

I have put in a request for a new PC but I would like to know how much of an

improvement it would make. 

I monitor about 70 devices (with another 40 or so to be added soon) and as 
I've said above this takes just under 2 1/2 mins. 
Could somebody reply who monitors around the same amount of devices stating 
how long it takes them and on what system it is run on.
