[mrtg] graph wierdness on hp2400 switch

hi all - 

  i'm having some wierdness happenening graphing an interface on a hp2400 series switch. i've got a couple example graphs at the following url:

the first graph, the one that appears to be working, is getting pulled off of a cisco router. the graph looks nice. the second graph, is the otherside of the link, on a Hewlett packard switch (2400 model). 

here's a copy of the relevent config for the wierd graph:

misc. note: the good graph is being generated by mrtg version 2.5.4c and the bad one by mrtg version 2.9.17
