Hello,
I started using mrtg a few weeks ago and found nearly everything i need except
for one thing.
My linuxbox has several ip addresses on the same interface
eth0 = 217.18.64.53
eth0:1 = 217.18.74.161
eth0:2 = 217.18.74.162
and so on. I need to know the traffic on the first ip address, but also the
traffic of the other addresses on an ip basis. So everything that goes trough
the card for the second ip address ... a seperate statistic for eveything that
was send to the third ip address ... the fourth ... and so on.
I have searched everywhere i can think of and tested all i can dream of, but or
it measures eth0 ... or it does nothing ... or i get an snmp error.
Does enybody know the right snmp commands to use for this ? I have tried
Target[217.18.74.161]: 217.18.74.161/1:public at 217.18.74.161:
Target[217.18.74.161]: 217.18.74.161/2:public at 217.18.74.161:
Target[217.18.74.161]: 2/217.18.74.161:public at 217.18.74.161:
Target[217.18.74.161]: #2/217.18.74.161:public at 217.18.74.161:
Target[217.18.74.161]: 217.18.74.161/2.1:public at 217.18.74.161:
and some more of the same things ...
Kind regards
Jan Adriaenssens
