Hi Tyler,

Sorry to disapoint you, but this will not solve the problem ... min
and max in rrdtool are related to the data rate and not to the
counter values ....

It is highly likely that the counter in your device is rather
broken ... you could try to 'and' the counter value with 2^31-1
