[mrtg] Recreating graphs from section of log

Comrades,
Searched Tobi's and Alex's FAQ but no luck.

My management has decided they want an MRTG snapshot of Sept 11. I've
snipped out the section of <whatever>.log for that part of September. What's
the URL for the syntax of how to run a retrospective MRTG or rrdtool chart
from an existing log?
