[mrtg] Multipel config files

Is there a way to run multipel config files.  We are monitoring a win2k
server, a 2 different routers.

I get the following error when i try to run the second instance of mrtg:
"ERROR: I Quit! Another copy of mrtg seems to be running. Check
/usr/local/mrtg-2/cfgfilename.pid"

I checked the file and all it has is a 4 digit number 5838.

Can anyone help?  If there is a link somewhere which deals with this issue
please direct me to it.
