Ahhh, those pesky little quotes :)
Thanks on that one.

Subject: Re: [mrtg] Getting info via MAC instead of IP?
Coincidentally I just got that error of course relevant to my device
(not a mac):
ERROR: CFG Error in "setenv[xx.yy.zz.uu_AA-BB-10-DD-CC-22]", line 50:
MRTG_INT_IP="xx.yy.zz.uu" MRTG_INT_DESCR="Compaq Teaming Miniport
Driver
must be XY="dddd" AASD="kjlkj" ...
And it was because the end quotation marks were missing after
"MRTG_INT_DESCR="Compaq Teaming Miniport Driver (right here)
>>> Alan Rader <arader at finishline.com> 04/09/02 11:06AM >>>
I have some servers that are using adapter teaming. I used the
following
with the IP to create my config file:
./cfgmaker --show-op-down --ifref=eth --descint --global 'options[_]:
growright,bits' --global 'WorkDir: /usr/local/www/mrtg/tflservers'
--output
/usr/local/www/mrtg/server.cfg HYPERLINK
"mailto:public at xx.yy.zz.uu"public at xx.yy.zz.uu
This only gave me one NIC. How do I go about getting the other one,
since
they use the same IP and all I know is the MAC address?
Also, since the above gave me some long file names of
xx.yy.zz.uu_macaddress
to something better for me. It does not like the line
ERROR: CFG Error in "setenv[xx.yy.zz.uu_AA-BB-10-DD-CC-22]", line 50:
MRTG_INT_IP="xx.yy.zz.uu" MRTG_INT_DESCR="Compaq Teaming Miniport
Driver
must be XY="dddd" AASD="kjlkj" ...
Is this something I really need? I commented it out and things seem to
be
updating.
Any ideas on that?
Thanks
