Hello all,

I have searched the archives for on this problem but have not seen anything
like this.
We have 2 pix 535's in running in a current/failover status. 6.1(3) code.

I can successfully do snmpwalks on each firewall.
Current

$ snmpwalk x.x.x.x xxxxx ifindex
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.1 = 1
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.2 = 2
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.3 = 3
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.4 = 4
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.5 = 5
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.6 = 6
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.7 = 7
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.8 = 8
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.9 = 9
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.10 = 10

Standby
$ snmpwalk x.x.x.x xxxxx ifindex
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.1 = 1
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.2 = 2
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.3 = 3
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.4 = 4
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.5 = 5
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.6 = 6
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.7 = 7
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.8 = 8
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.9 = 9
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.10 = 10

However, when I try to run cfgmaker,

The cfg file for the failover pix works fine.
The cfgmaker process for the working pix hangs.

Using some debugging I get this result

$ cfgmaker xxxxxx at x.x.x.x
--base: Get Device Info on xxxx at x.x.x.x:
--base: Vendor Id: cisco
--base: Populating confcache

Has anyone had a problem like this before or any ideas.

I created a cfg file for the working pix by hand and tried run the mrtg
Command on it but it hung as well.

Thanks,
