[mrtg] Rateup syntax

I know this has been brought up in some recent messages, but nobody has
given a clear answer as of yet.

Can anyone give some instruction (command line syntax) on how to create
a graph with rateup based on an existing log? I've created large graphs,
200 x 600 for many interfaces. However, I would also like to create
small 100 x 190 index graphs to go on a monitoring web page. Then when
the admin clicks on the index graph, he is redirected to the MRTG
generated web page with the bigger graphs.

I know that when you type rateup by itself it give you the commands, but
it's not very intuitive. Anybody got any better info?

I know on of the standard answers is to use RRDTool, and I'm planning on
it in the future, but cannot do it for the time being. Right now what
I've done is created duplications of every interface with the big and
the small index graphs, and suppressed the creation of the weekly,
monthly and yearly graphs, but this is still creating a lot of resource
load for nothing.

Thanks,
Max
