Hi All,
I've trying to monitor a tcp connection with MRTG
unsuccessfully.
I have a FreeBSD box where I want to monitor just
POP connections. So, I create a rule in ipfw and a
script to read this rule.
Such is script has a output like this:
33450
53425
0
0
Where the first line is the total bytes incomming and
the second line is the total bytes outgoing.
My mrtg.cfg has the follow lines:
=================================
Target[pop]: `/home/mrtg/popconnections.sh`
MaxBytes[pop]: 65535
Options[pop]: absolute, growright
Unscaled[pop]: dwmy
Title[pop]: Pop Connections
PageTop[pop]: <center><h1>Pop connections</h1>
ShortLegend[pop]: b/s
The problem is that it isn't working this way. I have to
specify some parameter that I don't getting to find out.
Does anybody could help me?
