[mrtg] subinterface on 6506 showing 50Bytes of traffic

primary interface 2/0/0 etc show good traffic graphs, but all frame relay
subinterfaces show 50bytes of traffic.

Has anyone else experienced this?  i have searched over the last 6months of
posts and the web page and have found nothing.
