Still having a small problem with this, but maybe I am missing something
simple. I used the mkcfg.pl, works great, created a test.cfg file with
all of the perfmon variables I want to monitor. I can run "perl mrtg
test.cfg" and get no errors and it is creating all of the files I need.
When I add the test.cfg items to my already running mrtg.cfg, NO UPDATES
??? If I run it by hand (perl mrtg mrtg.cfg) perfmon html's update, when
I let the service run the same command, everything but the new perfmon
stats update.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks in advance,

I use performance monitor as described in the link above.

Subject:	[mrtg] Windows 2000 CPU, Memory Usage

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone is successfully using MRTG to monitor Windows
2000
servers without installing any 3rd party utilities on the servers being
monitored? I try to use the tools that come with the OS as much as
possible
or until I need more functionality that they can provide. I have seen
posts
mentioning installing SNMP42K, but I would rather *try* to use the
functionality within Win2k SNMP if possible. I am currently able to
monitor
NIC usage and the amount of Disk space used, but am having troubles with
finding the correct OID's for Memory and CPU usage.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Thanks,

Ed
