[mrtg] MRTG on Mail traffic

I am using Sendmail on my mail servers... I want to monitor Mail traffic
it thru MRTG.

I installed mrtg-mailstats perl script and use mrtg to run on it....

I have put in the mail.cfg file:

Target[mailserver]:
`/usr/local/etc/mrtg-2.9.11/run/mail/mrtg-mailstats-size -m smt
p -p 7256 -s mailserver.domain.com.np -l
/var/log/mrtg-mailstats/mailserver/size`

However when I try to run it, I get the error

2002-06-09 18:49:43 -- WARNING: Could not get any data from external
command '/usr/local/etc/mrtg-2.9.11/run/mail/mrtg-mailstats-no -m smtp
-p 7268 -s mailserver.domain.com.np -l
/var/log/mrtg-mailstats/mailserver/no'
Maybe the external command did not even start. (Illegal seek)

Please advise what could be wrong and how i could rectify it?
