[mrtg] exportstr error

I have an external script gathering some data, and being graphed by MRTG,
and I keep getting the following error:

invalid character 34 in exportstr for "" MRTG_INT_DESCR

Has anyone seen this error?  The data is still being graphed correctly, but
I am wanting to keep everything proper.  Thus, what do I need to do in order
to correct this?
