Bogus alarms fixed with an upgrade (2.9.22). Well done and thanks. For 
anyone interested the CHANGES file indicates work was done on the threshold 
handler with rrd in 2.9.21. Upgrade to 2.9.22 not only resolved the bogus 
alarms but also the false spike and evident entry into rrd. This may also 
resolve false spikes due to counter rollovers that some had discussed in 
the past as it seems to be a similar symptom. Although you'd need to test 
to confirm as I'm only speculating here.
