I recently fought with this as well.... As it turned out, the OPTIONS
attached to the config turned out to be important... Why, I'm not rela
sure, but (just guessing here...) I think is that in my configuration it
thought it was bits (not absolute #'s) and was seeing 1-5%, 1-5 bits and
then mabye rounding down to 0 bytes when it wrote it to the log file...

Here's what works for me on my 6500's, 2950's and 2600's

Options[_]: gauge, growright
WorkDir: d:\mrtg\stats
WithPeak[_]: ymw

Target[cpu_sw-efc-1]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0:community at sw-efc-1
MaxBytes[cpu_sw-efc-1]: 100
Title[cpu_sw-efc-1]: sw-efc-1 CPU
PageTop[cpu_sw-efc-1]:
sw-efc-1 CPU usage (%)

YLegend[cpu_sw-efc-1]: CPU Utilization

Subject: [mrtg] Cisco 2600 & 2950 cpu usage

Hi,

I'm trying to graph the cpu usage of cisco 2950 and cisco2600.

I'm using mrtg-2.9.18pre12 is the Multi Router Traffic Grapher.

If i try with snmpwalk snmpwalk Host PublicKey 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0
I got a null result

If i try with snmpwalk snmpwalk Host PublicKey .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0 (
notice the . at the begining )
i got this : enterprises.9.2.1.58.0 = 22 ( the cpu usage )

In my mrtg config file i have tried with :
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0:PublicKey at Host
and
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0:PublicKey at Host

The two of them alway return 0 in the graph .... is this a bug i something i
don't do corectly ?

Regards !!
