Unreadable? What are you trying to "read"?? You want to be able to see a
line move when you have a fluctuation of .01% of your bandwidth? You want a
graph that is not an actual representation of your utilization? What do you
use your graphs for? I use mine to look at spikes and get a baseline for
daily utilization. And if I see a large spike in the middle of the day, I
know something is wrong, at a mere glance.
I want factual graphs, not just something that looks pretty. Seeing if a
user's port fluctuates a tenth of a percent does nothing for me. Besides,
that information IS displayed in decimal format right below the graph.

Because if your backups make your graphs unreadable from a daily
perspective. E.g. during the day a high point on a server would be
5MB. And at night the backups would
reach 60MB thus making the daily usage unreadable.
Also it if our daily usage peak would be 5MB and we get a 6.5MB peak
then its very
difficult to see on this particular graph.
One thing I would agree with you on is that it does make a boring
looking graph and it
also makes an unreadable graph (from our point of view) which
defeats the whole
purpose.
