[mrtg] Fork command failing now

I have been using RRD 1.0.45 w/ MRTG 2.10.5 in Redhat 7.3 for some time now.
The system seemed to be working without issue until I ran the latest up2date
from Redhat around the time 2.10.6-11 came out.
 
Since then I've noticed that the Fork command causes data loss in my graphs.
If i remove the Fork command, I get data.  If I poll with the Fork command
and not RRD, I get data.
 
Any thoughts?  Should I recompile/build RRD?
