[mrtg] upgrading from 2.9.17-8 to 2.9.25.1.7.2

Hello,
Recently tried to upgrade the rpm package mrtg-2.9.17-8.i386.rpm that
came with Redhat 8.0 with rpm package mrtg-2.9.25.1.7.2.i386.rpm from
the mrtg download page.  After upgrading the rpm package, I now get this
error after running mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg:

gd-png:  fatal libpng error: Invalid filter type specified
gd-png error: setjmp returns error condition

I have everything but the graphs.  Any help is appreciated!!!
