Don,
Thanks for the help. I tried this but it did not work on a Solaris 8 box...I tried snmpget to query the box with the OID you specified....however I get the following:
C:\SNMP\bin>snmpget -M c:\snmp\mibs -m UCD-SNMP-MIB nss10n01 public .1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9.1
Error in packet
Reason: (noSuchName) There is no such variable name in this MIB.
Failed object: enterprises.ucdavis.dskTable.dskEntry
Does anyone know why I get this error???
Thanks,
Anthony

I'm using net-snmp 5.0.6 on Sol9 and get the data from
enterprises.ucdavis.dskTable.dskEntry (.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.9.1) oids. The
dskTotal., dskAvail. and dskUsed. values
report in kilobytes. I've found that multiplying the snmp value by 1024
and using kilo[_]: 1024 in mrtg.cfg gives you more accurate graphs.
Below is the portion of mrtg.cfg used to collect root fs used and total
space for my sol9 box.

routers2.cgi can show you graphs like this, but then you also need to be
using rrdtool to store the data and have the GD perl lib installed for
routers2.cgi to generate the graphs
