Thanks to all who offered assistance, I greatly appreciate everything. I'm
receiving data for the first backplane, but I'm still receiving an error for
the Total and Total peak. I must be using an incorrect OID.
Error states: (warn): Argument "^A^C^F^A^D^A|^E^A^A^A^C" isn't numeric in
addition (+) at (eval 892) line 1.
John C. thanks, but that isn't a line break, its due to the manner in which
I cut/pasted. Sorry.

I have the OID information directly from a Cisco Tech., for the multi
backplane 5500
(three backplanes). In addition, I have performed an snmpwalk and also I
found info. from

Below are the results from my snmpwalk and below that information is what
I'm using in my MRTG.cfg file.
My problem and my question - I'm not receiving any error and, more
importantly (or worse) I'm not
receiving any data. The speed for the backplane is 1.2 Gb. I am, however,
receiving an error on the
Total backplane utilization and the Total Peak - error indicates the OID is
not a numeric value (can't add non-numceric values).
If you can provide any further assistance, suggestions or guidance, I will
greatly appreciate it!
