The rate of change of the statistics in under 1 per second. In the log
extracts you gave, there were 182 seconds between samples, and the counter
changed by 86. Dividing 86 by 182 and rounding to the nearest integer gives
a rate of zero, so mrtg is working exactly as designed.

Use the "perminute" or "perhour" options, or multiply the result by some
value.

Subject: [mrtg] Problem with one target not updating

Thanks for all your help last time, but now I have an odder problem.
Given this config:
Target[testdb.locavista.com_tps]:.1.3.6.1.4.1.111.4.1.1.1.23.2&.1.3.6.1.4.1.
111.4.1.1.1.22.2:public at testdb.locavista.com
Title[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: TPS and user call rate for
testdb.locavista.com
PageTop[testdb.locavista.com_tps]:
TPS and user call rate for
testdb.locavista.com

YLegend[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: TPS
LegendI[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: Transaction rate
LegendO[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: User call rate
Legend1[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: Transaction rate per second
Legend2[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: User call rate per second
ShortLegend[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: /s
MaxBytes[testdb.locavista.com_tps]: 999999999

I get values back, but the ones for the first OID never seem to make it to
the
graph:
# head testdb.locavista.com_tps.log ; mrtg /etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg ;echo; head
testdb.locavista.com_tps.log
1043774114 143344 1871886

1043772600 0 5 0 29
1043772300 0 29 0 29

1043774296 143430 1873426
1043774296 0 8 0 8
1043774114 0 0 0 6
1043774100 0 6 0 23
1043773800 0 22 0 23
1043773500 0 10 0 21
1043773200 0 20 0 21
1043772900 0 9 0 10
1043772600 0 5 0 29
1043772300 0 29 0 29

Other targets in the mrtg.cfg update fine.

Calling it a "food plan" doesn't help.
