[mrtg] indexmaker won't default to interface name for Cisco?

Just moved to 2.14.3 from 2.9.29.  indexmaker used to put the Cisco 
interface description above each graph with --section=descr if the 
switch had an interface description and just use the interface name if 
it did not have a description configured.  Now indexmaker gets the descr 
if it is there, but nothing if no description is configured for the 
interface.

 From the docs I don't think it is supposed to work that way, and I 
preferred the earlier behavior.  Any hints on how to make it work like 
that again?
