[mrtg] rrdtool wierdness after upgtrade

The other day (8 Jul) I updated rrdtool on my 2 servers (FreeBSD 7.0) 
(among other updated ports, not including mrtg)

Today I see that all the rrdtool based graphs are not generated 
correctly.
For example
http://iwr.ru.ac.za/cgi-bin/14all.cgi?log=ntpoff&cfg=iwr.cfg

You will see that no axis nor legend data is inserted.
This happens an ALL rrdtool graphs, including those generated by my 
HOBBIT monitor.

I am currently updating my ports tree in the hope that whatever has 
caused this has been fixed and by updating a few ports I can fix it.

Any other ideas?
