Well, you know, the difference between you and me is that I was a user
of rrdtool, and a participant on this list, way back when Tobi decided
that indeed it was not possible to produce exact values for MAX and MIN.

I was there when the program changed to do exactly the opposite of what
you want.  Not because it would misled you but because it used to do so.

But I promised myself I wouldn't respond to top-quoters anymore; thanks
for the reminder of why I did that!
