I had the following build error when attempting to build RRDTool 1.0.48
on an AMD64 Opteron based RHEL v3 update 2 system, I left the system
details as well. Any help in resolving the error would be appreciated.

RedHat perl rpm - version 5.8.0-88.4
RedHat gcc rpm - version 3.2.3-34
