Hey,
We been successful using RRDTool 1.2 in our Solaris x86 and SPARC system. Lately we have noticed: http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool-trac/ticket/178 and planned to upgrade to 1.3.
Couple of comments:
- there are a lot more libraries required on this version: pango, cairo,
pixman. These were not needed on 1.2, is this correct ?
- why so many dependencies ? This makes a bit harder the building process
plus increases the risk that something might not execute correctly. There
are dozens of warnings during build process with or without GNU compiler.
- I hope rrdtool will stay small and efficient, the way it has been.
Thanks,
