thanks for the reply,
actually i can easily ping the ips which i want to ping from smokeping,now i dont know if theres special command for fping,i used the ping command.
my .pngs are also created but the problem is that that are also empty not showing the reading.
now i have no clue to this problem

Did you verify that fping can in fact ping the devices in question? Verify
that the names you have in your configuration are pingable first.

Secondly I would look the RRD files getting created. Are these files showing
data. I don't recall off the top of my head the exact syntax, but I know you
can query the RRD files to find out what they contain. Perhaps someone that
has a working system in front of them can tell you.

If your see the graphs,and they are refreshing then I would say your
permissions are most likely ok because they had to be created at some point.

i m new to smoke ping i have installed the smokeping and its working fine
just the problem is msopkeping is refreshing but not plotting any readings
only blank graphs...
can anyone tell me the issue!!!!
i have mentiond the permissions to apache to the img dir
