[smokeping-users] Cannot spawn backend process

Hello All

I keep getting these errors

[Thu Jan 15 08:59:25 2004] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] Premature end 
of script headers: smokeping.cgi
[Thu Jan 15 08:59:25 2004] [error] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX] speedy[14909]: 
Cannot spawn backend process

And the page reports

The server encountered an internal error and was unable to complete your 
request. 
Error message: 
Premature end of script headers: smokeping.cgi 


The only refrenceI can find in the apache Documentation is the permisions.

I can run smokping.cgi manually from the command line and output to a html 
file and this works fine.


What am I missing,  Can Anybody Help
