[mrtg] BSD & No Cron

HI

I know this is sketchy, and I am only moderately familiar with BSD. I
would like to run MRTG on a BSD machine that I cannot access the crontab to
add the mrtg event.

Is there a way that mrtg can be setup to run every 5 minutes without a cron
event? This is a firewall box that has a web interface which prohibits
user access to the file system. I can access the web server cgi & doc root
dir's. Perl in installed and running.

JOhn :}
